Dedicated to doing more with less, Shoestring Press serves artists in Brooklyn with printmaking studio space, master printer services, and community.

We welcome member artists working in all printmaking techniques — screen printing, etching/intaglio, lithography, and relief printing — and in painting and drawing. Our goal is to make art making, and printmaking especially, accessible, affordable, and an integral part of the Crown Heights and greater Brooklyn Community.

Shoestring Press was founded in 2011, and our storefront space on Classon Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn opened in 2014.

Memberships at Shoestring

Shoestring Press offers affordable studio space to artists with monthly printmaking memberships in screen printing, etching, lithography, block printing, textile printing, as well as studio art.
